There are several modes of transportation to reach the venue

Car Park
At the venue a new Car Park for 1.000 cars is located 50 meters near the entrance of the Willem-Alexander Baan. Parking e-tickets are available in the webshop of this website and at the box office. €6 a day and € 30 all 8 racing days.

Bus 875
During 2016 World Rowing Championships there is payed non-stop public transport by bus 875. Driving time is 20 minutes.
This non-stop bus departs at Train and Metro Station Rotterdam Alexander:

Pay with Dutch OV chip card(available at all metro and trainstations). FISA-Family Card holders and holders of Rotterdam Welcome Card please show your FISA-Family card at the driver for free traveling on bus 875.
Bike parking is free and is located near the entrance.

Air; There are two international airports within one-hour drive: Rotterdam-The Hague Airport (RTM) 20 minutes from venue; Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) 45 minutes from venue. Transport for teams will only be provided from these airports.

Train; High Speed and Intercity links from Europe to Rotterdam Central Station; Local train/metro station is Station Rotterdam Alexander.Busses shuttle from this station to the venue (see above)

Road; Willem-Alexanderbaan is just minutes away from A20 Rotterdam-Utrecht and A12 The Hague- Utrecht highways.

At the venue; Teams and the media will be provided with a shuttle bus service between their accommodation and the competition venue, as well as transfers to and from the airport/train station mentioned above and accommodation (only for teams and media that booked their accommodation through the Organising Committee).
